Sign into your account on Soundcloud. Click on Profile from the dropdown box. Click on Edit and you will now be able to edit your profile. Your Display Name and Profile URL are two separate but related parts that require attention when you create your profile. These two elements are what other SoundCloud users and the public will see. If you are a solo performer — use the name you perform under. If you are uploading episodes of a podcast — use the podcast name.

To change your profile description or web links, sign in to your account and go to your profile's edit page. Your profile edit page can be accessed through the Edit button below your header image:. You can add or change your profile image either directly on your profile page, or through your profile edit page using your computer. Profile avatars are circular in order to differentiate from track and playlist artwork. There is not a way to delete a profile image from your account. However, if you are unhappy with your profile image, you can easily change it to something else. We accept any images up to 2mb in size.
If other users are searching for you on SoundCloud, make locating your profile as easy as possible for them by making your display name and profile URL clear, correct and concise. The username can also be changed via mobile URL changes not possible on mobile. Be sure to display it as you would anywhere else, and feel free to include spaces and capital letters. Changing your profile URL is not available through our mobile apps you may only change your username via the app. Your new profile URL and display name will be immediately searchable within SoundCloud, but may not show up immediately in Google search. This is dependent on Google refreshing its cache, and SoundCloud cannot influence this.
