A schoolgirl who was allegedly gang-raped by four students at a boarding school in India has been denied a place at a new school because 'she will spoil the atmosphere. The year-old became pregnant after she was assaulted by fellow students at a school in Sahasput in the city of Dehradun on August 14, NDTV reports. School officials are accused of trying to keep the incident under wraps but it was reported weeks later after it emerged the girl had become pregnant. Now, the girl's parents have filed a complaint claiming schools in the city are discriminating against their daughter by denying her admission. One of the schools the girl applied to denied her a place because they felt her presence would spoil the atmosphere on campus, Senior Superintendent of Police Nivedita Kukreti said.
