Public Transport

Public transport is the best way to reach The Gabba, especially on event days when road traffic can be congested. The stadium is well-serviced by bus, train, and ferry connections, ensuring a hassle-free trip for visitors. Brisbane’s TransLink network provides regular services that stop near the venue, making it easy to plan your journey in advance. For fans with pre-purchased event tickets, free travel is available within Brisbane City council for select events. Check the TransLink event page to find out if your event is included.

Pick-Up & Drop-Off Zones

For those opting for rideshare services or private vehicle drop-offs, The Gabba has designated pick-up and drop-off zones to ensure smooth access for attendees. These zones are conveniently located at:

  • Potts Street

Parking Restrictions

Unlike some venues, The Gabba does not offer public parking, meaning attendees must rely on public transport, drop-off zones, or nearby paid parking facilities. Coach Parking

For large groups or tour operators, coach parking is available but must be pre-booked due to limited space. Applications must be submitted through this form at least 3 business days before an event.

Accessibility Parking & Drop-Off

For patrons requiring accessible parking, limited spaces are available near Gate 5 on Duke Street. These spaces are reserved for PWD (Persons with Disabilities) permit holders and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

If arriving by vehicle, an accessibility drop-off zone is also provided near Gate 5 on Linton Street, ensuring guests with mobility needs can be safely dropped off close to the stadium entrance.

Accessible Seating & Facilities

The Gabba offers designated accessible seating, ensuring that individuals with mobility impairments can enjoy the action without needing to navigate stairs.

The Gabba features a fully accredited Changing Places Facility, providing essential amenities for patrons with high support needs. Located on Level 2, near Gate 9, this facility includes:

Quiet Room & Sensory Support

Recognizing the needs of guests with sensory sensitivities, The Gabba offers a Quiet Room, designed to provide a calm and peaceful environment away from the bustling stadium atmosphere. Located on Level 2, near Gate 4, the Quiet Room includes:

  • Sensory-conscious games
  • Quiet cubicles for relaxation
  • Tactile wall panels & bean bags

For those who may feel overwhelmed, sensory bags equipped with noise-cancelling headphones and fidget tools are available for loan at First Aid Rooms near Gates 2, 4, 7, and 9.

Parents and Children

Prams and strollers are permitted at The Gabba. However, they must be folded under your seat while in the stands. If your pram does not fit under your seat, you can store it at The Gabba's cloak room. 

There are parent rooms available on Level 2 at the Gabba and baby change facilities are also available on level 2.
